daisies mosaic Here are some links to Jennifer's favorite places!

Blazingsalads
The booth at the Oregon Contry Fair we work at in the summer sometimes.

Story of Stuff - a 20-minute video about how our cycle of production of consumer goods is screwing everything up. They are working to educate people about sustainability, even creating curriculum for teachers.

Swing Wine Bar - A wonderful new bar in Olympia. It overlooks Capital Lake and has great ambiance. They serve great wines, including organics, and excellent food. (and it is full of my mosaic installations!)

Ruby Reusable- a blog about recycled art.

Cracked Pots - A group that uses art to encourage our community to creatively look at trash. Reuse is at the heart of all we do. Think before you throw.

Recycled Art website - I just discovered this site, which looks like an e-commerce site just for recyled art. I will be exploring this to see how it works!

Society of American Mosaic Artists - Everything you need to know about the business of mosaics, member sites, links, etc.

Cleverdot.com - They are my web host. Great prices and easy to work with.

Enterprise for Equity - I just finished a business training course with this awesome non-profit. They help people start small businesses, boosting the local economy.

Railey's Leash & Treat - Our good friend owns and operates this awesome pet boutique in Fremont (Seattle).

http://www.jo-braun.com/home.htm - Another mosaic artist working in recycled glass, but with a very different method and style. Beautiful work!

http://www.rivenworksmosaics.com/rivenworks.swf - Kelley Knickerbocker is yet another amazing mosaicist in Seattle.

Barnyard Gardens: http://barnyardgardens.com
Our friends have a nursery and farm in Shelton, WA. They also have a "foodscape" business, helping people to install gardens that provide food.

By the way, Jill Carter helped me get this website online. I couldn't have done it alone. I have more links to add and so many that I would like to include, but I don't want to be overwhelming.
