Mosaic can be created to suit any color scheme, theme and/or
budget. I have created mosaic for homes and businesses, wall
art and architectural installations.

This is a peek at my latest piece, a 16-foot tall tree cut into
a wall of slate tile, filled with mosaic. Click
here to see more.
How to commission a piece: Contact me about your idea. I can
work from a concept, theme, sketch, or reproduce a graphic in
mosaic. I enjoy working with interior designers to create mosaics
that work with the surroundings. A design fee will be applied
toward the final cost, and when we have settled on the size,
scope, and design, I will provide an estimate. A contract is
signed and half of the estimate is paid as a nonrefundable deposit.
The final payment is due upon approval and delivery of the completed
work. If the commission is a permanent installation, I will
work with you or your contractor to create a mosaic on the correct
substrate and with accurate measurements so that it can be installed
safely and with integrity, adding unique character to your space.

The owner of this piece wanted something similar to the Olympia
ArtsWalk cover design. We talked about themes and colors and
I created this mosaic for his home.

Completed November 2009
*In June 2009, I completed a 18 mosaic panels
for Lawton Elementary School, totalling 113 s.f. These were recreations
of designs by students. The panels were installed in November,
and I don't have a photo, but some of them are part of the banner
on the school's website: http://lawtonelementary.org

This is an overhang surrounding a bar in Olympia.
Inside is storage for glasses and supplies.

The panels are lit from within, illuminating the area around
it, adding ambiance.

The overhang wraps around the bar.

This restaurant wished to add beauty to a very
industrial-looking oven. The hardi-board panels were mosaiced
in my studio, installed by a contractor, then grouted and sealed
by me
.
The following year, the restaurant needed a moveable
divider to create a sense of privacy at some tables. I worked
with Artist Loralin Toney to design this piece. She made the wood
frame and I inlaid the panels with mosaic.
